In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Chase Ankrom, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Scottie Maskil, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.

Jefferson-Morgan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Carmichaels has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. It's a different story for Jefferson-Morgan, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given Carmichaels' sizable advantage in that area, the Rockets will need to find a way to close that gap.
