St. John's Catholic Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cayenne Pigeon, who scored 15 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Pigeon has scored at least 25% of St. John's Catholic Prep's points. Another player making a difference was Nadia Ferguson, who scored 13 points.
Mackenzie Conley and Katie Carroll certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Conley scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds, while Carroll dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Conley is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
St. John's Catholic Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mount de Sales Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
St. John's Catholic Prep will head out on the road to face off against Concordia Prep at 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Liberty at 5:30 p.m.
