Union County can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Franklin County Wildcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 25-17.

Olivia Tinkle paced Union County's offense, picking up 22 kills. Tinkle got some help from Casey Klein and her 24 assists. Braylen Rudnick controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Union County's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Franklin County, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Coming up, Union County will head out on the road to square off against Centerville at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Franklin County, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Northeastern on the 23rd.
