Suburban - West recap November 13, 2013
Eureka added to the longest winning streak in Suburban - West this week by beating Lindbergh, 38-14. The win marks ninth in a row for the the Wildcats.
Mehlville lost to Lafayette 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Flyers' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Chuck Houska threw for 181 and 2 touchdowns and Carl Lovely had 98 yards receiving. On the ground Garrett Krueger chipped in 44 yards. Krueger helped Lindbergh's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 52 yards.
He was 12-29 with 3 interceptions.
Houska put up the best numbers through the air as Lindbergh lost to Eureka. Houska's favorite target this week was Lovely, who caught 2 passes for 98 yards.
Lindbergh's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Flyers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Houska has thrown for 2,714 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Krueger has 52 catches for 1,184 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Eureka takes on second place Lafayette.

The Lancers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Mehlville.
