The Ganado Indians will be playing at home against the Timpson Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ganado comes in on four and Timpson on 14.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Ganado walked away with it. They took their matchup on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 41-12 win over the Bobcats. The result was nothing new for Ganado, who have now won ten contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Ganado's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Holt, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Holt was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 57 yards. Another player making a difference was Bryce Ullman, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.
Meanwhile, Timpson's offense rose to the challenge against a Bulldogs defense that boasted an average of only 13.86 points allowed. Timpson walked away with a 35-23 victory over Garrison on Friday.
It was another big night for Terry Bussey, who rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 124 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Ganado's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Timpson, they have yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 14-0 record.
