Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alhambra). They strolled past the Antioch Panthers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 78-60. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Alhambra got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Samuel Gillaspy out in front who went 5 for 9 on his way to 19 points. What's more, Gillaspy also racked up four rebounds, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Jaimison Krause was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.

Alhambra was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Alhambra's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Antioch, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.

Alhambra has already played their next game, a 68-44 loss against Campolindo on the 13th. As for Antioch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-53 win against Bear Creek on the 14th.
