Thomas Healy was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Regis Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Highlands Ranch's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Regis Jesuit hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .370. It's a different story for Highlands Ranch, though, as they've only averaged .233. Will they be able to contain Regis Jesuit's hitters?
