Community Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hayden Yelverton led the charge by rushing for 169 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Price Horton, who rushed for 57 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries.
Grace Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Community Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
