Putnam County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tamaud Woodson, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Woodson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaylin Harper, who scored ten points along with five steals.
Glenn Hills' loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-14. As for Putnam County, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
Glenn Hills will be playing at home against Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Glenn Hills in Georgia (Washington County is ranked 227th, while Glenn Hills is ranked 491st). Putnam County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Thomson at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. Thomson is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
