Softball Recap: Quincy Wins Going Away Against Trinity

Quincy never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past the Trinity Wolves 11-0. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jenna Peay was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hana Hostetter, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Quincy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Quincy's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Trinity, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Quincy has already played their next match, an 8-6 victory against Fall River on the 22nd. As for Trinity, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Maxwell on the 22nd.
