St. Ignatius had won 16 straight home games dating back to last season and Andrew Brobbey did his part to make it 17 on Thursday. The Wildcats blew past the Hudson Explorers 3-0 thanks in part to Brobbey, who had 19 assists. He has been hot for a while, having posted 19 or more assists the last 30 times he's played.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-20.

Hudson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sam Disney, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Owen Stearns, who had six kills.

St. Ignatius' victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Hudson, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Coming up, St. Ignatius will square off against Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hudson, they will take on Mentor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
