After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maple Heights, The Bedford Bearcats were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They skirted past Lorain 15-12. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bedford also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.
Lorain's loss came despite strong showings from John Salaman and Ocir Kimble. Salamanrushed for 94 yards and a touchdown, while Kimblerushed for 68 yards and a touchdown.
Bedford's win on Thursday bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Lorain, their defeat on Thursday dropped their record down to 7-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bedford will take on Warrensville Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lorain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maple Heights at 7:00 p.m. on October 20th. Maple Heights will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
