Celebration came into Monday's game looking for another win against Lake Nona, but Jonathan Mckenna wouldn't allow it. The Lions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Storm on Monday, sneaking past 3-2 with plenty of help from Mckenna, who had 34 digs and three aces. He has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last eight times he's played.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (100-97) Lake Nona actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 12-25, 20-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Lake Nona's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12. As for Celebration, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-10.

Lake Nona has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Timber Creek on the 22nd. As for Celebration, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Ridge Community on the 28th.
