McDonogh added to the longest winning streak in MIAA A this week by beating Calvert Hall, 48-13. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Eagles.
Archbishop Spalding and St. Frances Academy played the closest game in the league this week, with Archbishop Spalding eventually emerging with a 35-34 victory. Zach Abey threw for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 189 yards during the win.
The Cavaliers' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Abey contributed 189 yards. Rylan Sweetney helped Archbishop Spalding's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 10 yards.

Archbishop Spalding's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cavaliers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Abey has thrown for 619 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Beswick has 21 catches for 393 yards. Abey also leads the league in rushing with 835 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. Frances Academy takes on McDonogh. Messay Hailemariam's team is currently in fourth, while dom damico's team is in first.
The league will see a high scoring game when Mount St. Joseph and Kyle Schmitt's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Gaels comes in having scored 138 this season, while the Cavaliers have scored 196. Mount St. Joseph scored 6 points last week as it fell to Gilman.
Blake Henry's team lost to the Greyhounds 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nevone McCrimmon was a bright spot for the Gaels, as he ran for 71 yards in the defeat.
