Baseball Recap: Cassopolis Has No Trouble Against Lawrence

Cassopolis won the last time they faced Lawrence and things went their way on Monday too. The Rangers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 17-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Lane Leach was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Anderson, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Cassopolis now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lawrence, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cassopolis will square off against rival Centreville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lawrence is set to challenge their familiar foe White Pigeon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
