The Blue River Valley Vikings waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 43-37 victory over Cambridge City Lincoln. That's another feather in the cap for Blue River Valley, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Blue River Valley was led to victory by Maciah Driskill and Ella Schmidt. Driskill scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks, while Schmidt scored 17 points along with three steals. Driskill is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played.
Blue River Valley's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they bumped their record down to 3-14 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.
