Brent Martin posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out ten batters over 4.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
