The Western Boone Stars lost against the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Western Boone took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Montgomery.
Brandon Potter threw for 80 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Fortner was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Philip Talbott rushed for 47 yards.
Western Boone's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for North Montgomery, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-4.
Western Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Montgomery will be playing at home against Tri-West Hendricks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tri-West Hendricks will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
