Nordonia is 2-8 against Wadsworth since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Nordonia comes in on four and Wadsworth on nine.
On Tuesday, Nordonia got the win against Twinsburg by a conclusive 3-0.
While Nordonia won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 28-26.

Nordonia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Palinkas, who had 20 assists and four digs. Palinkas is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Root, who had 23 assists.
Meanwhile, Wadsworth made easy work of Hudson on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-12.
Nordonia's record now sits at 13-2. As for Wadsworth, their record is now 16-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Nordonia has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.1 aces per game. However, it's not like Wadsworth struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Nordonia suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Wadsworth in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
