Make it eight blowout wins for the Hesston Swathers this season. Everything went their way against Hoisington on Tuesday as Hesston made off with a  48-27 win. Given Hesston's advantage  in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 18th, while the Cardinals are ranked 114th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Leading Hesston to victory were  Reed Friesen and  Adrian Hernandez.  Friesen  scored seven points along with six  rebounds and two  blocks, while  Hernandez  scored 13 points.  Karter Gonzalez was another key contributor,  scoring eight points.
 When it comes to explaining why Hoisington lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Tony Moore. Despite the final result, he  scored 13 points along with two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Randy Chambers, who  scored five points.
 Hesston's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Hoisington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
 Hesston will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dragons at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Hoisington, they will head out on the road to  challenge  the Greenbacks at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Pratt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
