Mountain House has been on the road for three straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Grace Davis Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Mountain House's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Last Friday, Mountain House didn't have too much trouble with Ceres on the road as they won 62-45. Given Mountain House's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while Ceres is ranked 622nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Coldin Parker and Jordan Assefa were among the main playmakers for Mountain House as the former scored 12 points and the latter scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Clay, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Grace Davis' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Johansen.
Mountain House has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Grace Davis, they bumped their record down to 5-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Mountain House strolled past Grace Davis when the teams last played on January 3rd by a score of 63-44. Will Mountain House repeat their success, or does Grace Davis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
