The Richfield Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against North Sanpete as Richfield made off with a 63-42 victory. Richfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Richfield got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brielle Jolley out in front who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Jolley hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Hallie Janes, who scored 14 points.
Richfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for North Sanpete, they bumped their record down to 6-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richfield will challenge Juab at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Juab is ranked 41st, while Richfield is ranked 24th). As for North Sanpete, they will head out on the road to take on Manti at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Manti focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 34 on Tuesday.
