The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors will venture away from home to  challenge the Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
St. Michael the Archangel is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 62  points  last Saturday, they were much more limited against Woodberry Forest  on Saturday. They took  an  18-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.
 Despite the  loss, St. Michael the Archangel got top-tier performance from   Marcus Ferguson, who rushed for 125 yards and one  touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
 Meanwhile, Friendship Collegiate Academy is ranked highly in their home state and   on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Highland Springs. The Knights fell  29-18 to the Springers.
 St. Michael the Archangel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 5-2.
 St. Michael the Archangel took their  win against Friendship Collegiate Academy  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024 by a conclusive  30-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
