Baseball Recap: Jim Thorpe Has No Trouble Against Wilson Area

While Jim Thorpe put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Wilson Area. Jim Thorpe blew past Wilson Area 10-0.

Jim Thorpe got a big performance out of Nikolas Schwartz, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three hits gave Schwartz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Pastor, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Jim Thorpe always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wilson Area only posted an OBP of .370.

The victory got Jim Thorpe back to even at 1-1. As for Wilson Area, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
