The Logansport Berries are taking a road trip to  square off against the McCutcheon Mavericks  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Logansport is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5  points per game  this season.
Logansport is headed into Friday's   match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game  on Saturday. They fell  54-46 to Western.  Despite their  defeat, Logansport saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Chris Anthony Delvalle, who  went 5 of 8  en route to 15  points and five  assists, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of  RJ Clem, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and ten  rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, McCutcheon beat Lafayette Central Catholic 44-39 on Friday. The 44-point effort marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring  contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 McCutcheon found their leader in sophomore  Brody Baker, who  went 5 of 12  on his way to 17  points and seven  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gavin Pritzel, who  posted seven points and 14  rebounds.
 McCutcheon now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Logansport, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
 Logansport lost to McCutcheon on the road  by a decisive  68-52 margin  when the teams last played  back in January of 2024. Can Logansport avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
