Duncan has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Duncan Demons and the Cache Bulldogs will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Cache took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Duncan, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Duncan beat Plainview 43-34.
Cache suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2023 on Saturday. They were the victim of a rough 55-31 defeat at the hands of Broken Bow.
Duncan's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Cache, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11.
Duncan strolled past Cache in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 52-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Duncan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
