Ralls is 1-9 against Olton since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Ralls Jackrabbits will head out on the road to face off against the Olton Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. Ralls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1338th, while Olton is ranked 663rd).
Last Friday, Ralls came up short against Floydada and fell 63-54.
Meanwhile, Olton waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 win over Floydada. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Olton has posted since December 29, 2023.
Ralls has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for Olton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season.
Ralls took a serious blow against Olton when the teams last played back in January, falling 69-39. Can Ralls avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
