When it comes to explaining why University Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Scott Steffan. Despite the final result, he scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Baron Grooms, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Red Bluff was led to victory by Bryce Owens and Eli Hohenberger. Owens dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Hohenberger dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kayden Leaf, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for University Prep and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Red Bluff, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
