Six Rivers recap November 5, 2013
Black Hawk extended the longest winning streak in Six Rivers this week by beating De Soto, 42-0. The victory was the 12th in a row for the Warriors.
Black Hawk took down the Pirates 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Black Hawk takes on second place Potosi. Cory Milz's team topped De Soto last week, while Potosi defeated North Crawford.
The Chieftains' Brent Curtis needs only 69 yards against the Warriors next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 124 carries Curtis has put up 931 yards this year.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Black Hawk and Potosi face off next week. Heath Butler has thrown for 1,191 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Keegan Brown has terrorized opposing QBs to the tune of 4.0 sacks.
There should be lots of points scored when Mark Siegert's team and the Warriors face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Chieftains comes in having scored 376 this season, while Black Hawk has scored 424. Potosi scored 40 points last week as it beat the Trojans.
