Softball Recap: Legion Collegiate Academy Has No Trouble Against Lewisville

Legion Collegiate Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lewisville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lancers blew past the Lions 13-1 on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lancers considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Gracyn Hagler was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Emma Dade, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.

Legion Collegiate Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Legion Collegiate Academy now has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Lewisville, their loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3.

Coming up, Legion Collegiate Academy will square off against Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewisville, they will take on Lee Central at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
