Eastern View took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against King George, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cyclones skirted past the Foxes 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Cyclones sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Eastern View's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for King George, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern View will square off against Spotsylvania at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cyclones' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for King George, they will take on Caroline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Foxes' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
