Phalen Leadership Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Demarcus Suggs, who scored 25 points along with four steals. The matchup was Suggs' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Zinan Taylor, who scored 16 points along with six assists and five steals.
Purdue Broad Ripple's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-4. As for Phalen Leadership Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
