The biggest upset of the week belonged to Schalick, who took down 117th ranked Schalick, 19-10. Dasheem Sanders threw for 115 yards and ran for 75 yards in the win.
Sanders and Kerron Johnson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Cougars. The longest such play in West Jersey - Diamond this season, the connection resulted in 54 yards.
Nick Elmer put up the best numbers through the air as Penns Grove defeated Gloucester Catholic. He finished with a total of two completions for 27 yards and one touchdown. Elmer's favorite target this week was Jabrail Murray, who caught two passes for 27 yards.
Corey Clement was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 222 yards on 26 carries as Glassboro topped Schalick. Teammate Ronnie James added to the ground attack by rushing for 53 yards.
Johnson was the best wideout in the league this week as the Tartans bested Seth Brown's team. Johnson racked up two receptions for 63 yards. Jacorey Williams helped Highland Regional's passing attack out by catching one ball for 27 yards.
The Cougars' Jarred McCafferty and Melvin Allen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading West Jersey - Diamond in both passing and receiving yards. McCafferty has thrown for 150 yards this season, while Allen, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has nine catches for 115 yards. Clement from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 366 yards.
The Red Devils were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in the league. Penns Grove vanquished the Rams 60-0 earlier in the week.
