Ooltewah barely beat East Hamilton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Owls put the hurt on the Hurricanes with a sharp 9-3 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Owls, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Ooltewah's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for East Hamilton, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-13.

Ooltewah will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hurricanes: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
