Ben Sherrod continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nic Huston, who scored 21 points along with three steals.
Astoria/VIT's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-14. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.
