The Trenton Tigers were the 31-28 winner over the Celeste Blue Devils when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Trenton was outmatched by Celeste on the road and fell 56-9. Trenton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.
Taylea West was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with 4 steals for Celeste. The matchup was West's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jaia Rector was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Trenton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Celeste, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Trenton's road trip will continue as they head out to face Leonard at 5:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for Celeste, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Boles at 6:00 p.m. Boles' defense has only allowed 29.9 points per game this season, so Celeste's offense will have their work cut out for Celeste.
