The Wendover Wildcats won the last time they faced the Altamont Longhorns, and things went their way on Friday too. Wendover took down the Longhorns 45-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wendover.
Leading Wendover to victory were Gaby Delgadillo and Kadence Murphy. Delgadillo scored ten points along with four steals and four blocks, while Murphy scored 12 points along with three steals. Delgadillo hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Lizbeth Landeros was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Wendover's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Altamont, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Wendover will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Altamont, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tabiona will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
