Basketball Recap: Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory Gets the Win

Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They slipped by the Parkhill Christian Academy Chargers 46-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-47 back in December of 2024.

Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was John Miller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards. Miller is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. Eli Carson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Parkhill Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Manzanares, who posted 20 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nicolas Pacheco, who had five points and six boards.

Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Parkhill Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
