The Keswick Christian Crusaders waltzed into their game on Saturday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They were the clear victor by a 54-30 margin over East Lake. Keswick Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 24 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ava Graham, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Keswick Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Robyn Cantwell, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
East Lake lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Rose Cline, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cline has scored all season. Katelyn Otto was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Keswick Christian's victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.83 points. As for East Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keswick Christian will take on Booker at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Booker has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for East Lake, they will head out on the road to take on St. Petersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
