The North Polars's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Monday. They came out on top against Centennial by a score of 74-65. North's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Duke King, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brevin Conway, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
North's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3. As for Centennial, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
North will head out on the road to face off against Como Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Como Park's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Centennial will be home for the holidays to greet Forest Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
