After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matchups, Sabetha finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They fell just short of the Silver Lake Eagles by a score of 3-1. The Bluejays' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sabetha's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Silver Lake, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Coming up, Silver Lake will challenge El Dorado on Tuesday. Sabetha will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' game: after the Eagles face off against St. Marys, they'll take on Sabetha again on Thursday.
