Softball Recap: High Tech SD Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

High Tech SD had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders as they made off with a 16-6 victory. This was a revenge game for the Storm: when they faced off against the Crusaders last Monday, they had to take a 10-5 loss.

High Tech SD pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for St. Joseph Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, High Tech SD is taking a road trip to face off against Mountain Empire at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will be playing at home against Borrego Springs at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
