DeWitt had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Haslett on Monday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Vikings. The Panthers have beaten the Vikings the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.

DeWitt's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Haslett, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, DeWitt and Haslett will both be playing Waverly the next time they take the field. The Vikings will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Panthers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on the 27th.
