The biggest upset of the week belonged to LaBrae, who took down 484th ranked LaBrae, 34-25.
Liberty extended the longest winning streak in All-American - American this week by beating Newton Falls, 47-12. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Leopards.
Lakeview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Erich Schmitt threw for 48 and one touchdown and Elijah Henderson had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Michael Mannella chipped in 71 yards. John Guinn helped Lakeview's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Jefferson Area's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tony Chiacchiero has thrown for 1294 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Kyle Ashburn has 23 catches for 395 yards. Scott Davidson leads the league in rushing with 738 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Liberty takes on the Bulldogs. As it stands, the Leopards are in first, while Lakeview is in third.
Girard moved up to 534 from 577 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in All-American - American. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of topping the Vikings 34-25.
