The St. Joseph Christian Lions and the Plattsburg Tigers squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the St. Joseph Christian Lions had to settle for second. St. Joseph Christian was outmatched by Plattsburg on the road and fell 62-26. St. Joseph Christian's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why St. Joseph Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Peyton Hausman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Hausman is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played.
St. Joseph Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Plattsburg, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
St. Joseph Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Plattsburg will take on South Holt at TBD on Friday. South Holt is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
