Elkhorn South faced Westview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Storm were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Wolverines. The game marked the Storm's most dominant win of the season so far.

Caleb Uphoff tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Elkhorn South let Brooks Berliner and Tyler Lofdahl run wild. Berliner scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-5, while Lofdahl got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Berliner has posted since back in April of 2024.

Elkhorn South now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Westview, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
