The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Grace Christian Academy in their matchups with Gardner-South Wilmington: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the loss, Grace Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Natalie Dalton, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 35.7% of Grace Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Chloe Dandurand was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Even though they lost, Grace Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. This was only their 14th loss (out of 22 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Grace Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-19 record this season. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.
Grace Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-36 loss vs. Tri-Point on the 10th. Gardner-South Wilmington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
