It was another big night for Kassidy Paul, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 20 rebounds for Edgewood. Paul has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Blair McPherson, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Lone Oak's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-15. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Edgewood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

As for Edgewood, they will head out on the road to face off against Chisum at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chisum will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 639th, while Edgewood is ranked 245th).
