South Plainfield entered their tilt with Timothy Christian on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Timothy Christian. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Timothy Christian, too.

South Plainfield easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

Kyara Knight paced South Plainfield's offense, picking up five kills. Knight got some help from Raika Stiglic and her seven assists. Knight was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

South Plainfield's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Timothy Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

South Plainfield will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hillsborough at 4:30 p.m. on the 27th. As for Timothy Christian, they will square off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
