Key?shaun Sampton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gary Gaither, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Northeast still got an impressive performance from Amani Brown, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists.
Spencer's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.2 points per game. As for Northeast, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.
